Opal doublet with topaz in sterling silver textured band.
Opal doublets are composed of 2 layers adhered together. A Backing, and a slice of opal. Since they are glued, these are not always great for everyday wear- prolonged exposure to water can cause lifting between the layers over time. These are a more affordable option to solid stones while still getting those stunning unique colours.
The side stone is a topaz set in a bezel, if you'd prefer a garnet, sapphire or another stone just let me know.
